KELLY'S BUG-OO-BO-ITS
(BBQ Spareribs)
2 T. brown sugar
1 T. vinegar
1 clove garlic
dash liquid smoke
salt and pepper (optional)
Brown ribs on all sides. In blender, mix all other ingredients. Place ribs
in large oven proof pan, pour sauce all over, cover, put in oven at 375°,
for about an hour and a half, or until meat is tender and sauce thickens.
May need to add water while cooking. When meat is tender, remove lid, and
cook until sauce is thick, not watery.
Note: I always made mashed potatoes with bacon bits and corn or green
beans with this. Kelly loved this recipe, but had some trouble saying the
name, hence, Bugooboits; we still call it this to this day.
