BUFFY'S PASTA WITH OLIVES, GARLIC & PINE NUTS
Cook pasta according to package directions. Toast pine nuts in medium dry
skillet over medium heat until partially brown, about two minutes. Remove
from heat and set aside. Heat oil in same skillet over medium heat, add
garlic and stir for twenty seconds. Add tomatoes, parsley and basil and
cook, stirring frequently, for five minutes (until tomatoes are softened).
Add olives and salt. Toss pasta and sauce and add pepper, Parmesan and pine
nuts.

Death is simply a shedding of the physical body like the butterfly
shedding it's cocoon. It is a transition to a higher state of consciousness
where you continue to percieve, to understand, to laugh, and to be able to
grow.

APRIL'S VERY EASY CHILI
In a large saucepan combine the beef and onion and sauté until beef is
browned and onion is tender. Add the stewed tomatoes with juice, tomato
sauce, beans and water. Season with the chili powder, garlic or garlic
powder, salt and pepper to taste. Bring to a boil, turn heat to low and let
simmer 20-30 minutes. Serves about 4 people.
